Urgent Road Closure - A261 Hythe Road, Pedlinge – 5th April 2020 (Folkestone & Hythe)

It will be necessary to close A261 Hythe Road, Pedlinge from 5th April 2020 for up to 1 day between 07:00 and 19:00.

The road will be closed between the junctions of A20 Ashford Road and Lympne Town Boundary by the John Park International property.

The alternative route is via A259 Military Road (Dymchurch Road in reverse), Rampart Road, Prospect Road, East Street, Seabrook Road, Sandgate Esplanade, Sandgate High Street, Sandgate Hill, Sandgate Road, Earls Avenue, Shorncliffe Road, Castle Hill Avenue, A2034 Cheriton Road, B2064 Cheriton High Street, Cheriton Interchange, A20 Ashford Road, Sandling Road, Stanford Intersection and Ashford Road, Newingreen.

This is to enable urgent gully and culvert cleansing works, to be carried out by Kent County Council.
